Closed-cell exterior walls
Medium-density closed-cell foam for exterior walls and roof decks. High R per inch, and it acts as its own air and vapour control layer.
Closed and open cell foam for exterior walls, soffits, parking structures and every awkward junction the drawings do not show. Air sealing is where the energy goes, so that is where we spend the time.

What we install
Medium-density closed-cell foam for exterior walls and roof decks. High R per inch, and it acts as its own air and vapour control layer.
Light-density open-cell foam where cost and sound matter more than vapour control, on interior partitions, demising walls and infill cavities.
Exposed soffits, parking structure ceilings and slab edges, with thermal barrier coatings where the code requires them.
Window perimeters, penetrations, top and bottom plates and slab-to-wall junctions sealed as a scope of their own, not as touch-up.

The assembly
Foam is easy on a flat wall and hard at the slab edge, the parapet and around every penetration. Those junctions get inspected and photographed before the wall is closed in.
Surfaces checked dry, clean and at working temperature. Foam will not bond to frost, dust or wet sheathing, so we do not spray until it is right.
Glazing, mechanical, finished surfaces and adjacent trades masked and protected. Overspray is far cheaper to prevent than to remove.
Rig temperatures and ratios set, a test pass sprayed and checked for cure and adhesion before production spraying starts.
Foam applied in controlled lifts to the specified thickness, each lift allowed to cure so the core sets properly instead of trapping heat.
Depth checked across each elevation, high spots trimmed flush where cladding or strapping has to land on it.
Slab edges, parapets and penetrations detailed, photographed, then walked with the consultant before the wall is covered.
Specifying
Medium-density foam with a closed cell structure. It insulates, air seals and controls vapour in one application, which is why it dominates exterior wall work.

Before you tender
If your question is not here, call and ask for the estimating desk. We will tell you what an honest scope looks like even if it is not ours to build.
Yes, within limits. Substrate and ambient temperature both matter, so we hoard and heat rather than spray onto a cold wall and hope it bonds.
Typically the same day for closed cell, once the foam has cured and the area has been ventilated. We schedule the spray so it does not stall the trades behind us.
Yes. Exposed foam in garages, soffits and service spaces gets the code-required thermal barrier coating as part of our scope, not as a separate contract.
We check depth across each elevation and hand over photos with depth readings, so the consultant is not taking the R-value on trust.
Next step
Wall sections, the energy report and an R-value target are enough to start. We will tell you where the assembly will leak heat before it is priced.
